Dr. Remaa A AlSafi has been the Director of Medical Laboratories Services Administration at the Kuwait Ministry of Health for the past four years. She also serves as a consultant pathologist at the maternity hospital in Kuwait. She has worked in the healthcare industry for 24 years and holds 13 years of expertise in gynecological pathology. She holds a Canadian board certification in Anatomic Pathology and a one-year fellowship in Gynecological Pathology from McMaster University in Canada.

Dr. Hassan Aziz is the Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. Dr. Aziz is the immediate past President for the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS). He is a Fellow of the Association of Clinical Scientists (ACS) and of the Institute of Higher Education at the University of Georgia (UGA). He is a certified Green Belt Six Sigma and TEDx speaker. With a distinguished career spanning over 20 years, Dr. Aziz has been a leader in integrating research and education, experiential learning, and curricular innovations across multiple disciplines. He has an extensive international experience in higher education, consulting and advisory work. He is an external examiner for several international academic programs and an adjunct faculty to a number of institutions. He is an active member of national and international professional and scientific societies and organizations. He is on the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Biomedical Laboratory Science (IFBLS). He is a VIP mentor to new program directors through the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS) as well as a site visitor for clinical laboratory programs. In addition to numerous international conference presentations and guest speaking engagements, Dr. Aziz has over 80 peer-reviewed publications. He is the recipient of the prestigious ASCP Lifetime Achievement Award and the Distinguished Author Award by ASCLS

Dr. Shadia Al-Bahlani is an Associate Professor in Department of Biomedical Science, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. She obtained her Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine (2010) from University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Canada. Her research interest is in cellular and molecular pathology mainly in cancer. She is highly skilled in cell culture and molecular biology techniques. She is involved in running and managing the Biomedical Science (BMS) program in the College. She has a good experience in academia in terms of curriculum management and evaluation. Her long term goals are to be an excellent academician and a determined researcher who will greatly contribute to academia and cancer research respectively.

Adhari Al Zaabi is an assistant professor (MD-PhD) at the college of medicine and health sciences at Sultan Qaboos University. Her research work is mainly on cancer prevention, artificial Intelligence applications in healthcare, active learning and wellbeing of youth.

She has been awarded several research grants as a primary investigator and Co investigator, the last was the His Majesty Fund grant 2022 for the project on extraction of medical health data with the use of neural network to improve cancer registry.

Dr Adhari has contributed with a full chapter in the first book about Cancer in Arabs and was involved in modifying the colorectal cancer management guideline for the MENA region. She has national and international multidisciplinary research collaboration and has been invited to many international conferences to present her work. She has received several awards from several entities, most prominently the fellowship award in molecular and behavioral cancer prevention from the National Cancer Institute in the USA in 2018. Recently, her research team received the best poster award in the European Society of Medical Oncology conference which is the most prestigious cancer conference in Europe.

She is the founder of Siyaj, the national program for cancer prevention and healthy lifestyle. She is the co-founder of Gudhoor, the national program for environmental and healthy behavior among the youth.
